Description
130 km north of Rovaniemi, 3 km north of Sodankyla center, Kitinen river 35 m, natural riverside, deep shore, rocky bottom, occasionally strong water flow (beach only for persons who can swim), no pier. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".
Within a kilometer distance from the cottage in the upstream direction is Kelukoski power station, whose ripples cause strong changes in water flow. From the cottage there is no visibility to the power station. Log house, built in 1997, living room foldable sofa bed (1 child), kitchenette, loft 1 bed (steep spiral staircase, low height), sauna (woodstove), washroom/toilet and covered porch. Little cottage in a quiet location on the big river near the services of Sodankyla (2-4 km). Level lawn courtyard. There are plenty of opportunities for fishing and berry picking in the Sodankyla area. Luosto Tourist Center 40 km, Pyha-Luosto National Park 45 km.
