Hot tub, summer kitchen, covered cooking area and boat with outboard motor available. 55 km to the east from Rovaniemi, lake Vanttausjarvi 20 m (length 6 km, width 2.5 km), shallow, artificially sanded beach, pier, rowing boat and outboard 5 hp. The outboard motor will be delivered with a full fuel tank and customer also returns the engine with full fuel tank (2-stroke engine). The cabin lies under a steep hill, so a four-wheel drive car is recommended for those booking this cabin in the winter. Round log cabin, built in 1980, renovated and modernized in 2021. Living room / kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, bedroom has folding door, loft with high quality air mattress bed (width 160 cm), separate WC. Lakeside sauna with shower in the sauna room, dressing area. The sauna has wood-burning sauna stove and underfloor heating. Next to the sauna, there is a hot tub embedded in the terrace. The hot tub is heated by fuelwood. The hot tub is available in summer and from autumn -22 also in winter. Water to the hot tub can be pumped from the lake by using a motor pump, a separate water pipe will be available from autumn -22 too. Guests can heat the hot tub by themselves, but heating, draining and washing are also available from the owner at an additional cost (€ 150). In connection with the lakeside sauna, there is a terrace with summer kitchen. The summer kitchen has a barbecue and terrace has a table for 6 people. In addition, closer to the lake is a separate campfire site. In windy weather or when the rain comes unexpectedly, there is also a covered cooking area with round log-built dining table for 4 people and a magnificent fireplace where you can fry sausages or even make blazed salmon. The cabin is equipped with 12-person tableware, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, electric mixer, heated towel rail and air source heat pump, for example. Pump can also be used for cooling in summer. Guests have free 4G Wi-Fi access and TV with Netflix streaming service (in case of rainy days). Official snowmobile trail network is within 2 km distance from the cabin. The snowmobile trail network extends in Rovaniemi and Kemijarvi. Snowmobile for a child can be rented from the owner. 4 sledges, Stiga-brand sled, ice drill and ice fishing rods available. Slope to the beach, good place for children's slide. Lake Vanttausjarvi, located in the middle of the magnificent hill landscapes, is a dream destination for fishermen in summer and winter. In winter, big perch are waiting for anglers, and in summer, trollers get handsome pike perch catches from the lake. The distance to the nearest casting-friendly fishing destination is about 10 km, and fishing permits for the area can be bought from the shop in Vanttauskoski. Boat ramp and traditional sleep-in lean-to shelter, 2 km. Village shop, restaurant and fuel sales in Vanttauskoski 10 km. Recommended places to visit: Ulingasjoki old mill and lean-to shelter 15 km, Kaihuanvaara hiking area 20 km, Auttikongas rapids 37 km, Korouoma gorge valley 50 km, Ranua Zoo 80 km, Pentik manor in Timisjarvi 90 km and Pentik factory in Posio 92 km. Rovaniemi city center 55 km, Ounasvaara ski resort and golf course 55 km. Arctic Circle and Santapark 63 km.
