Description

Charging an electric car or a hybrid car at this site is NOT ALLOWED, as the ground heat engine at the site may be damaged if there is an electrical overload. 53 km south of Rovaniemi, Lake Sarkikama 25 m (length 4 km, width 2 km), shallow, hard sanded bottom, pier, own boat. 2-storey silverlog cottage 1993, kitchen, living room, bedroom double bed (width 160 cm), sleeping alcove 1 bed (120 cm wide), open porch, downstairs: bedroom 2 beds (width a 100 cm) + 1 bed (width a 80 cm), bedroom 2 beds (width a 100 cm), room with fireplace sofabed (width 160 cm), washroom, sauna ('ever-ready' elec. stove). Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".

There are 5 fireplaces in the cottage! Snowmobile port. Lakeshore sauna (15 m²) with dressing room and open porch, sauna has cauldron, electric light and heating. Lakeshore sauna can be used year around. Owner rents hot tube for 150 e/weekend, 200 e/week (prices in 2022). There is DVD/karaoke equipment and Wi-Fi 4G. On the plot there is a dog compound and 50 m running wire which clients can use. Silverlog cottage in ridge area, gentle slope to shore. Sunny plot and clear watered lake which has good fishing possibilities. 5 fish net permits included in rent. Use of 8 pair of crosscountry skis and boots and 3 pair of snowshoes included in the rent. Neighboring cottage 15171 Kiviniemi. Puuhamaa and Kiviniemi cottages can accommodate a total of 16 people. Catering services can be ordered from the owner. Water in the tap comes from own well and contains manganese, which causes taste and smell into water. Owner brings drinking water. Distance to the neighboring cottage about 30 m: neighbor won't be visible from the terrace and only a little from the pier. Distance about 20 m from the back wall of the sauna building. However, both cottages have their own peace. Ranua Wildlife park 40 km.
