Description

37 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 9 km, Lake Alakitkajarvi 10 m, sandy bottom beach, pier, rowing boat and canoe. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".

Log cottage, built in 1985, renovated 2013 and 2018, bedroom 1: 2 beds, bedroom 2: 2 beds + extra bed, bedroom 3: 2 bunk beds, bedroom 4: 2 beds, bedroom 5: single bed, bedroom 6: 2 beds and bedroom 7: double bed. Livingroom, kitchen, electric sauna. In the main building maximum number of persons is 16. In case you will be more, please book additionally sleeping cabins (additional fee). On the yard area there are 3 log-built, warm sleeping cabins; two so called "Aurora cabins" (4 persons/cabin) are available all year round and one sleeping cabin (for 2 persons) is available only for summer use June-August, price is 200 eur/cabin/1-7 nights + final cleaning of sleeping cabin/cabins is totally 60 eur/1-7 nights. Distance from the main building to the Aurora cabins is approximately 150 m and for summer cabin approximately 200 m. Spacious cottage situated on Sompsanniemi cape on Lake Alakitkajarvi. Hot tub which can be used throughout the year. Use of hot tub is included in the price (client fills up, heats and cleans the tub). For additional fee it's possible to have caretaker to take care of filling and heating. During winter possibility for ice dipping (winter swimming) in the lake. Additional equipment: Full-size pool table, ski maintenance room (stand for ski waxing). Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 7 km, Riisitunturi Fell 28 km. Additional information: Extra fee for sleeping cabins 200 e/cabin; please add "Extra costs" to Your reservation according to how many sleeping cabins You want to rent (two 4-persons cabins can be rented all year round and one 2-persons cabin can be rented only during June-August). The final cleaning fee which is included in the accommodation price, does not include the cleaning of the sleeping cabins (60 e and it will be added to the booking). Further information on www.sompsanniemi.fi. Tableware for 24 persons. Two showers in bathroom. 3 wholes mini golf course and 4 fisbeegolf baskets on the yard. Nearby good terrains for berry picking. Hunting possibility for example in the area of Kuusamon Yhteismetsa (licenses are not included in the accommodation price, please check contact information from www.kuusamonyhteismetsa.fi). Pets allowed at extra fee. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).
