Description

250 km to the north from Rovaniemi, located in near Raattama in Ylikyro, nearby Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park on lichen ridge. Comfortable farmhouse "La Pedriza".

Log paneled cabin, built in 2011. Facilities on three floors. On the central floor living room, kitchenette, bedroom with double bed (width 140 cm) and covered porch. On the upper floor bedroom with 4 beds. Balcony, entrance from upstairs. On the ground floor sauna, washroom, separate WC and storage. There are quite steep stairs between the floors. The cabin is equipped with an air source heat pump, which can also be used for cooling in summer. Floor heating in the ground floor and central floors. Pet fee 50€/ reservation. Max 2 animal. Jakalatieva is in a calm location in the middle of lichen/forest terrain. Lichen is a speciality in this destination. It is still remaining due to the reindeer fence. Many services nearby: Hotel Vuontispirtti 3,5 km, reindeer farm with dining possibility 3 km. From reindeer farm you can rent canoes. Raattama village 5 km, where are located, for example, grocery store, restaurant with alcohol serving rights and horse riding stables. Hiking route from Vuontispirtti to the National Park's fells. Ski slopes of Pallastunturi 30 km, Visitor center 30 km. Hunting: Small game hunting area on state owned lands (only willow grouse) 1616 Nunnanen closest point is about 37 km away (www.eraluvat.fi). Fishing: Fishing in lakes is usually permitted with the fisheries management fee. One fishing rod can be used. More information see www.eraluvat.fi
