Yllas-Pallastunturi National Park can be easily reached, the nearest part of the National Park is in Ketomella, 17 km away from the cabin. Hiking routes lead to the National Park from Ketomella. The visitor center of Yllas-Pallastunturi National Park is located in Pallastunturi, distance 58 km. Also, the Pallastunturi ski resort is at the same distance. Protected mire Saaravuoma-Kuoskisenvuoma 6 km, connected to Poyrisjarvi Wilderness Area. Services of Hetta (municipality center of Enontekio) 30 km. Hetta Hiihtomaa, ski trail network and ski lift. Border crossing point to Norway 65 km and to Sweden 60 km. Hunting areas and fishing waters nearby. State-owned small game hunting areas (only willow grouse) are located nearby village.
